To make an Internet connection
- Open Network Connections.
- Double-click New Connection Wizard, and then click Next.
- Click Connect to the Internet, and then click Next.
- Click Connect using a dial-up modem, and click Next.
- If prompted, select the check box for the modem you want to use for this connection, and click Next.
- Type the name of your ISP in ISP Name, and click Next.
- Type the phone number of your ISP, including the area code, in Phone number, and click Next.
- Make the connection available to any user or only to yourself by selecting Anyone’s use or My use only.
- In User name, type the account name your ISP assigned to you. In Password and Confirm password, type the password for your account name, and click Next.
- If you want to create a shortcut for this connection on your desktop, select the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop check box.
- Click Finish.

- To make a connection available to any user, you must be logged on as a member of the .

- To enable automatic dialing for all users, create a connection, save your user name and password for all users, and then enable Internet Connection Sharing for the new connection.
